Company Profile

Message from the President

Uprise was founded in 1999 and began full-scale environmental business under its current structure in 2006. A while ago, environmental business was generally associated with “waste disposal”. However, since ideas such as SDGs and carbon neutrality became more widely common, understanding towards the environmental business was deepened, and it attracts social attention.
For two decades, we have been consistently treating waste as recyclable resources rather than garbage and working to succeed a better environment to the next generation. Thanks to our wide range of products, our overall strength as a group company, and our wide network with companies in China and the key ASEAN countries (Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Indonesia), Uprise became a trusted presence in the industry.
In addition, we keep evolving to meet the changing market in terms of social conditions and national policies. We have been providing high-quality products and services while responding to customer needs, and have created “treasures” named as recycled resources to this day.
In the future as well, we will not only continue to increase our sales as a company, but also aim to contribute to society by reducing the environmental burden and promoting health.

Uprise Co., Ltd. is divided into two divisions: the Environmental Business Division and the Health Business Division.

Environmental Division

International Trade Business

In cooperation with our own recycling factory in Kameoka City, Kyoto Prefecture and partner factories, we efficiently recycle materials. We also provide a total recycling solution service that offers high added value, low cost, and environmentally friendly recycling plans. We handle a wide variety of plastic, ranging from general-purpose plastics to engineering plastics and super engineering plastics.

Recycling business

We have specialized equipment at our Kameoka factory in Kyoto, enabling highly efficient removal of foreign materials. At the same time, we have established a system that allows us to produce high-quality recycled pellets with our compounding technology, taking our environmental protection efforts to the next level.

NBC business

Putting the environment and health as the first, we create new value for our customers, products with diverse materials and advanced technology, aiming to realize a sustainable society.

Health Division

Health Business

In order to make people healthier, Uprise has been working on health business since October 2014. We collaborate with pharmaceutical companies and academic institutions, and launched the GREEN SENSE® brand. We have developed a number of dietary supplements and cosmetics as a product line-up. Currently, as our main products, we sell the GREEN SENSE NMN9000, a dietary supplement containing NMN and Euglena, which was jointly developed with Euglena Co., Ltd., and the SENSITIVE AND HYDRATING FACIAL MASK, which contains chicken egg extraembryonic membrane cell conditioned medium; CELLAMENT®. Furthermore, as a part of our SDGs activities, we participate in the Euglena GENKI Program; which aims to solve nutritional problems for children in Bangladesh.

OEM product development

With the know-how we have cultivated over the years and our wide network in various specialized fields, Uprise propose high-spec products and high-grade designs, and provide consistent support from OEM planning to sales of cosmetics, health foods, functional foods, and more.
We also provide support related to the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Act for Japan, trademark registration, and product or ingredient-related analysis services.

Beauty and Medical
coordinator

In recent years, the number of inbound customers visiting Japan for beauty and medical purposes has increased significantly. On the other hand, there is a wide variety of options, and we often hear that the people are saying, “I do not know which is the best place for me.” Uprise introduce beauty and medical institutions according to our customer’s requests and handle various confirmation tasks for our customers.
We also offer full support, from counseling to post-treatment follow-up, to help our customers, needs to become “more beautiful and healthy”, regardless of the country or language barriers.

Providing recycling plans

We offer a wide variety of recycling plans for everything from general-purpose plastics to engineering plastics and super engineering plastics, which allows us to recycle waste and reduce the environment burden.

Highly efficient foreign matter removal at the Kameoka Plant

We have specialized equipment at our Kameoka factory in Kyoto, which enables us to remove foreign matter with high efficiency, produce high-quality recycled pellets, and make a significant contribution to environmental protection.

Recycling of used home appliances

The NBC Division separates used home appliances by parts and materials for recycling. We also import recycled resins and work to reduce the environment burden.

GRS and ISO14001 certified

We are GRS and ISO14001 certified to ensure environmental protection and sustainable business practices.

Health business development

Through our health business, which we launched in 2014, we sell dietary supplements and cosmetics that support people’s health with the development collaboration with pharmaceutical companies and academic institutions.
